VIRGIN BLUE AIRPASS RULES:

The basics

1. A minimum of 3 flights and a maximum of 8 flights must be booked
2. The Airpass can only be booked outside of Australia & New Zealand
3. Bookings can only be made for non-residents of Australia & New Zealand
4. Australian & New Zealand credit cards will not be accepted as a form of payment
5. The Airpass must be issued in conjunction with an International ticket
6. Pax cannot earn Velocity Points on Virgin Blue Airpass
7. 90-min minimum connecting time must be allowed for transfer between domestic flights and 2.5hrs between domestic and International flights

Fares and booking classes

1. The fares are shown as a “from” price and are based on the lowest booking class being available (E class)
2. There are 3 economy class booking classes:  E, C & P.  Virgin Blue also offers a Premium Economy class: O class
3. You may book up to a maximum of 9 pax on a Virgin Blue Airpass
4. No child discounts apply
5. Infants under 2yrs travel free

Changes & fees

1. Changes can be made through the following channels:
• Online – this is recommended for all changes made before arrival in Australia
• Through the Guest Contact Centre:  +61 7 3295 2298
  This is recommended for changes made after arrival in Australia
2. Changes – before arrival in Australia:
   Time/date:  Yes – no fee
   Route/sector:  Yes – no fee, but there may be a difference in the fare. Changes – after arrival in Australia:
   Time/date:  Yes – no fee if changes are made online through Infinity Holidays.  If changes are made through the Guest Contact Centre a fee of AUD 40 applies for domestic flights and AUD50 for International flights
   Route/sector:  Not allowed at all
3. Changes are not permitted at airport check-in
4. There is no limit to the number of changes that can be made to the Airpass, as long as they are within the rules above
5. Changes other than date/time/routing changes are not permitted
6. No cancellations or refunds are permitted
7. You are not permitted to add a flight to an existing Virgin Blue Airpass, but you can purchase multiple Airpasses provided you book the min number of coupons
8. No-show pax will not be entitled to a refund for that flight sector

Validity

1. Virgin Blue Airpass is valid for all direct flights and may be used for open-jaw or multi-city services.  Fares are not available for published connecting or conjunction services
2. Virgin Blue Airpass is valid for 12 months from the date of the first flown sector

Time limits

1. Ticketing time limit of 72-hrs applies for E, C & P classes and new bookings cannot be accepted within this time limit.  O class tickets must be issued 48-hrs before departure
2. There is no time limit between date of purchase and date of use
3. Virgin Blue Airpass is valid for 12 months from the date of the first flown sector

• Applies to genuine quotes in South African Rand from airlines and South African registered businesses and websites for travel that originates/departs from South Africa.
• Detailed quote must be in writing, must be inclusive of all fees such as taxes, surcharges and service fees and must be presented to us prior to booking.
• Fare must be available and able to be booked by the general public when you bring it to us.
• Fares available due to membership of a group or corporate entity or subscription to a closed group are excluded.
• We may offer you an alternative date/airline to get you the best price, but should you be less flexible we guarantee to better whatever you bring us – apples for apples.
• We will better the price by R20 on domestic airfares and R50 on international airfares.
