Backpacking through Europe

One of the great things about backpacking through Europe is the multitude of different cultures that you can see in just a short space of time. There are so many different countries crammed together in Europe that it’s very easy to visit several countries in a single week (actually you can visit several in a single day if you really need to). One excellent and very affordable way of travelling around Europe is to use a Eurail pass. You can travel through as many as 20 or more countries on a single pass, embarking and alighting trains wherever you will.. If you purchase one of these passes before you get to Europe you’ll probably find that it’s cheaper than waiting until you are actually backpacking through Europe before buying it.

Plan your journey backpacking journey through Europe before you set out. Write down the important places you want to visit well in advance – it’s no good just arriving in Europe and then starting to make plans. For example, you might have the Louvre written down as a place that you just have to visit, or maybe the castle in Heidleburg, or Loch Ness. If you want a really cheap and exciting backpacking journey through Europe choose the old Eastern European countries such as Hungary or Romania. Although London is friendly it’s also expensive. There are always too many people in Amsterdam (probably because of the relaxed legislation on Mary Jo). Paris is romantic and affordable but empty in August. One thing that you can be sure of – if you’re travelling to Europe you won’t ever be disappointed.

• Detailed quote must be in writing, must be inclusive of all fees such as taxes, surcharges and service fees and must be presented to us prior to booking.
• Fare must be available and able to be booked by the general public when you bring it to us.
• Fares available due to membership of a group or corporate entity or subscription to a closed group are excluded.
• We may offer you an alternative date/airline to get you the best price, but should you be less flexible we guarantee to better whatever you bring us – apples for apples.
• We will better the price by R20 on domestic airfares and R50 on international airfares.
