Hiking

Hiking adventures are very popular these days and are less dangerous with the correct hiking equipment and of course a hiking professional to assist you where necessary.  Hiking should be on every bucket list.  Start off small – hiking Table Mountain would be the perfect challenge.  Here are a few do’s & don’ts of hiking this merely to ensure you & your mates safety;
Do’s

  • Do hike with friends and a guide for safety purposes
  • Do bring snacks, water, a cell phone, a map and some sort of identification
  • Do inform family and friends of your whereabouts
  • Do keep to your trail – should anything happen, it’ll be easier for you to be found

Don’ts

  • Don’t pick flowers or plants – they could be poisonous
  • Don’t  litter
  • Don’t’ wander off alone
  • Don’t play music loudly or shout – you might disturb the animals & it might be dangerous
