Madrid Hostels

Most of the Madrid hostels are located in the areas surrounding Puerta del Solm Chueca, Plaza de Santa Ana as well as Malasaña. The area known for its culinary wealth is located in the area of Parque de Buen Retiro. Many of the hotels and only a few Madrid hostels are located along the Gran Vía.

Cat's Hostel

It is a fairly new hostel designed around the needs of young travelers. They offer clean accommodation in small en-suite rooms and large dorms with shared bathrooms. It is a modern hostel centrally located amongst many taverns and restaurants. Breakfasts are included and the hostel offers free disco entrance and beer on Wednesdays. Students Hostel Luis Velez

Another fairly new hostel located in the centre of Madrid between Puerta del Sol and the Atocha Railway Station is the Students Hostel Luis Velez. They are within walking distance from numerous landmarks including the Royal Palace, Reina Sofia Museum, Plaza Mayor, Theyssen Museum, and the Prado Museum. For daytime and nightly fun you will be delighted to know that they are also close to the Huetas zone of pubs and restaurants. Their rooms come complete with televisions, safety boxes, and heating. They offer a common room, free Internet access, and a kitchen.
