Youth volunteer Asia

There is always a demand for youth volunteers, and Asia is just one of the regions where they are in high demand. We currently have several youth volunteer tours to Asia, but there are hundreds more if you do a little research on the Internet. Our tours include:

• Village Build in Nepal - Make a difference to the lives of some of Nepal’s poorest children. For many children in Nepal, it is extremely difficult to obtain a good education. They face a shortage of basic facilities, with schools lacking toilets, classrooms, playgrounds, libraries, and even clean drinking water. Volunteers have the unique chance to join in with a Nepali community to help build or renovate their local school, and experience day-to-day life in this amazing country. Help out in a local village improving schools and village life in general.
• Thailand - Elephants and Adventure. Take this opportunity to assist with the preservation of one of the world's most respected animals and to explore Thailand - the land of smiles. Visit Bangkok, the rich green hills of the tribal north, the lush jungle of the interior, and the paradise of the southern islands and beaches. As a volunteer you will be assisting at "The Elephant Nature Park" in Chiang Mai, established to preserve the future of elephants in Northern Thailand.
• China - Giant Panda Discovery. Fully escorted by tour leader, services of local guides in Xi'an and services of staff at the Woolong Giant Panda Conservation Centre. As a volunteer you live and work within a community, becoming part of it, and you develop a unique insight into another society as a result. Accommodation will be basic, the work can be challenging, but the rewards are immense.

To be a youth volunteer in Asia you essentially need to be altruistic, but you will make immense gains in character and personal fulfillment. The mere fact that your CV states that you have been a youth volunteer in Asia will gain you masses of extra points when it comes to an application
for a scholarship or funding.

• Applies to genuine quotes in South African Rand from airlines and South African registered businesses and websites for travel that originates/departs from South Africa.
• Detailed quote must be in writing, must be inclusive of all fees such as taxes, surcharges and service fees and must be presented to us prior to booking.
• Fare must be available and able to be booked by the general public when you bring it to us.
• Fares available due to membership of a group or corporate entity or subscription to a closed group are excluded.
• We may offer you an alternative date/airline to get you the best price, but should you be less flexible we guarantee to better whatever you bring us – apples for apples.
• We will better the price by R20 on domestic airfares and R50 on international airfares.
